Sanya Glisic is an illustrator and printmaker in Chicago, IL.

She is originally from Banja Luka, Bosnia, and had moved to the States at age 10. In 2007, she received her BFA from the University of Arizona in Tucson.

During her 2010 Artist Residency at Spudnik Press in Chicago, she illustrated, screenprinted and hand-bound an edition of books based on 19th century Heinrich Hoffmann's Der Struwwelpeter. She has contributed to several publications, including Paul Nudd's Corpus Corpus 4, as well as The Land Line Quarterly, Lumpen Magazine, and her work has appeared on the covers of Newcity Magazine, KOSHKA, and as album art for BLACKCANDY Records. Her work will appear in Vols. 1 & 3 of the upcoming Graphic Canon Anthology, published by Seven Stories Press, as well as BLACK EYE No.2, published by Rotland Press. Her prints and drawings have been included in the recent 'Blaque Lyte' exhibition at Hyde Park Art Center.
She is currently working on a body of print work as the Artist-in-Residence at Chicago Printmakers Collaborative.
